Dr. Michael Rubbo, Director of Conservation Science

Mike Rubbo has over 15 years of experience studying the ecology of the northeast. He holds a Ph.D. in biology and is a certified ecologist through the Ecological Society of America. Rubbo’s areas of expertise include reptile and amphibian studies as well as wetlands ecology and habitat assessment.

Emily Svenson, Director of Operations

Emily Svenson has over 10 years of experience in natural resource conservation and formerly managed water quality grant programs for New York State. She has a BS in Environmental Science and training in land use issues. Svenson specializes in grant writing, communications and environmental policy.
